With two riders from Háromszék on the podium, the opening round of the Romanian Motocross Championship at Oltenia Racing Track near Balș ended with Tompa Krisztián first and Ördög Zoltán third in the MX1 class, in a field of more than 150 riders that also counted as the second round of the Balkan Championship. Zoltán had motor problems in the first heat, but improved clearly in the second one.
