Krisztián Tompa won both motos at the 7th round of the Balkan Championship in Korten, Bulgaria, consolidating his lead in the standings. Zoltán Ördög raced in the Youngster Cup (250cc) at the final round of the German ADAC series in Holzgerlingen, where he finished 36th overall after three motos. The postponed Romanian championship round was rescheduled for October 18-19.
