2023 was a season of contrasts for 17-year-old Zoltán Ördög of Ojdula. With the Top Cross TCS team he stood on podiums in Romania, Hungary, Greece, Germany, Bulgaria and Serbia. He became vice-champion of the MX2 class in the Hungarian championship, finished 3rd in MX125 in the Balkan championship despite missing two rounds, raced in the ADAC cup in Germany and reached the final heat of the Junior World Championship held in Romania. Yet the national recognition was missing: the family was not invited to the Champions Gala, and county support stayed minimal.
