In the 8th round of the Romanian MX championship at Merei, Buzău County, Krisztián Tompa won both motos and now leads the MX1 class with 357 points, 13 ahead of George Căbăl. Zoltán Ördög finished third in both motos to take third overall with 304 points, closing in on a championship bronze medal. The final round was scheduled for October 25-26 at Ciolpani.
